Adventures With Cassiopaea

Chapter 1

Frank, of course, was certain that these abductions were what gave him his "channeling" ability. We discussed it and decided to ask if this was the case: that he had been programmed to be a channel. In the session of 10-09-94, I asked:

Q: (L) Is Frank's mind programmed?
A: Yes.
Q: (L) To do what?
A: To be an open channel.
Q: (L) By who?
A: Us.
Q: (L) You said one other time that he was also programmed by the Grays.
A: Yes.
Q: (L) To do what?
A: To destroy himself.
Q: (L) Is this why it is important for him to channel?
A: Yes.

The above remarks, of course, raise the all-important question as to WHO was giving the answer? We certainly know from the vast body of material that the Cassiopaeans do not "program" anybody. So it seems fairly obvious that this response, due to the Wishful Thinking of Frank, either drew in a corrupting energy, or was answered by Frank himself.

Throughout this period I was, of course, doing all of my "testing" of the source, and asking of wide ranging questions on hundreds of subjects. The information was checking out and I was becoming more convinced that we had most certainly achieved a significant contact and so I asked:

Q: (L) Why did it take so long for us to get a "good source" through this medium?
A: Too many interactions with channel cancellers.
Q: (L) Who are the individuals who are channel cancellers?
A: It would not be our way to name names.
Q: (L) Do you mean people we have had involved in our lives?
A: Yes.
Q: (L) Does it have anything to do with our activities?
A: No.
Q: (L) Does it involve other entities that have tried to come through that have blocked the channel?
A: Yes.
Q: (L) Are they Lizards?
A: No.

These remarks were most revealing to me though, as usual, I kept my deeper speculations to myself. When discussing it with Frank, his answer was, of course, that all "channel cancellers" were individuals he did not like or who didn't like him because they were repelled by his disdainful and superior attitude. As usual, I always put the most positive "spin" on this, giving Frank the benefit of the doubt and attributing this behavior to a defense mechanism. I knew perfectly well that many people who act "superior" only do so because they are covering up deep inferiority feelings inside, and again, I had the idea that Frank was certainly a person with many talents and abilities and that helping him was a good thing to be doing.

Through all these months, Frank regularly repeated the claim that the only reason the Cassiopaeans were able to communicate was through him. I was certainly open to this possibility, and the possibility of further "tuning" as a trance channel, since that was what he was pushing for so regularly and repeatedly. Even though I pointed out to him that trance channeling, by definition is "disabling," and therefore pathological, he was anxious to work on it and presented arguments that it was not disabling if it was the only thing a person could really do in life, and if it was what they had been "born to do." These were compelling arguments, so reluctantly, I agreed to the experiment.

The trance material was very good, of that there was no doubt. There were several problems, however, that were disturbing. The first one was the "air" that was emanated by Frank when channeling from a trance. There is no way to describe this other than to say it felt very "uneasy," faintly repellant or "off" in some way. Even though the words were high sounding, and the information was good, the sensation that I had was unpleasant.

Another factor was a sort of "resistance" to freely answering questions. There was an obfuscatory action that was in play, utilizing a lot of words to avoid exactly direct answers. I had seen this in so much other channeled material that I knew that it was bordering on a source that rambles on and on with many words and little content. In short, the word density deteriorated when Frank channeled from a trance.

I decided to ask about this the next night at a board session, and this was the very first clue that Frank was NOT the channel.

Q: (L) Was Frank operating as a clear channel last night?
A: Partly.
Q: (L) What was the nature of the interference?
A: Static electromagnetic.
Q: (L) What was the origin of this static?
A: Various. Channels must be grooved as this one has been.
Q: (L) Is it correct that we should persist with practice for him to become a clear channel?
A: Yes.
Q: (L) How often should we do this?
A: Open, but one time per week would work.
Q: (L) How long will it take to "groove" or clear the
channel?
A: Open.
